I have been a little delinquent in my efforts to visit new home sites with all the snow, but went to Castleton today. It's down off of Rt 5 near Varina with easy access to Rt 295 to get to Rt 64 or to Hopewell/Colonial Heights/Ft Lee areas. And of course you can just head up Rt 5 to Downtown Richmond. The houses are being built by Ryan Homes and Boyd Homes. The Boyd Homes are being represented by Mr. Lynn Childers of Joyner Fine Properties. The range of homes are from a low of $189,000 to the mid $300,000's. Most of the house are in the $200.000's Many houses are already occupied and the lots are selling. Ryan and Boyd have model homes for you to visit.
Check out there website on my list of links for more info. Please feel free to call me if you need a "Buyer's Agent" to represent you on these are any homes.
The best place to find unbias information on new construction of homes and townhouses in Richmond, VA and surrounding counties of Chesterfield, Henrico, Hanover, Powhaton, Goochland and others. Links to builder websites and up to date information via my blog on communities. I do not represent any of these communities, brokers, or builders, but am a Licensed Realtor in VA representing the buyers of new construction.
The process of buying and building a new home can be very intimidating and very exciting. The mere thought of a gorgeous kitchen, huge closets, open floor plan and all the other modern amenities will lure the best of us into the impeccably staged model homes of the builders. You will need to decide on the communty, the builder, the floor plan and finally all the options that you would like to add. Some builders will include certain options and/or offer a credit toward other options. But they can add up fast increasing your purchase price significantly. You can not ask enough questions. And it is best to have a buyer's agent with you.
