The process of buying and building a new home can be very intimidating and very exciting. The mere thought of a gorgeous kitchen, huge closets, open floor plan and all the other modern amenities will lure the best of us into the impeccably staged model homes of the builders. You will need to decide on the communty, the builder, the floor plan and finally all the options that you would like to add. Some builders will include certain options and/or offer a credit toward other options. But they can add up fast increasing your purchase price significantly. You can not ask enough questions. And it is best to have a buyer's agent with you.

HHHunt Triples the Tax Credit-Save up to $16,000 on your New Home

WOW!! This is a great deal on a new home and is in addition to the tax credit. So if you are looking for a new home you will need to be under contract with them in any one of their centrally located new communities by 1/31/2010. This will allow the time to get the house completed and closed by 6/30/10 which is the deadline for the tax credit. Most of these properties are in the $250,000 to $350,000 range. In Chesterfield there is Magnolia Green, Oxford Village, Stewart Village and Greenbriar Woods. In Glen Allen there is Linden Pointe and in Hanover there is Coolwell and Rutland. Call me if you would like a buyer's agent to represent you.
